F(l)at

Hollywood teaches us wisely that every person over 50 kg/100 lbs is an overweight. Of course, Hollywood teaches us wisely many other things, and I'll discuss them here, but let's pretend politically correct and keep on with this one. So, all candidates below the magic limit are "healthy" "fit" "active" "calory counting" and "sport-lifestyle-oriented", right? All others are "overweight" "obese" or plenty of other polite terms for saying "You're fat pig, move away."

As you could read before, I still have no clue on why some people are over- and some underweight. Just when I think some new research cleared it for me, another one pops out with completely different result. This time I came to an interesting article that twists the whole story. Take a look:

If I understood well, the point is not in how you look, but in your body's general condition. If it is balanced, than few kg/lbs are not a problem. And we come to food input again: industrial, overprocessed food, lots of sugars, fats and additives will make your organism disbalanced, and you'll gain weight, to mention just the smallest health problem. It will lead to problems with knees and knuckles, less physical activity, then diabetes, then cardiovascular problems... and, suddenly, the airbagged look isn't a problem any more.

So, we got back again: healthy diet, physical activity, less tv more cycling and people! prepare your own meals! Buy quality ingredients, and be creative, it isn't hard, and it might be fun, too.
